Thank you for your interest in volunteering for YOUtopia. At this time, we are no longer accepting applications for volunteers, as the volunteer roster is full. We hope you’ll consider applying for an opportunity to volunteer next year.

Participation doesn't begin and end with choosing your most Playa-fabulous outfit! We are a culture of participation. Everyone brings something to Burning Man as well as our local events. We are looking to you, our wonderful community, to help us “fill in the blanks.”

This year's planning motto is “Many hands makes light work.” This is in regards to working together not only to make the event happen but also to make sure that a handful of people are NOT doing ALL the work. Our local events would not happen unless it was for each and everyone that has participated in greeting, being a Ranger, helping build the main stage, making maps or handing out water to the work crews while they are clearing roads and putting signs out. Every little piece of the puzzle is important, and every little piece of the puzzle could be you. What do you want to do for your community? Please note that at this stage in planning for YOUtopia, your volunteer application does NOT guarantee you a discounted ticket, as our volunteer roster is close to full. However, if there is a spot for you on our volunteer roster, based on the need of the event planning leads, you will be contacted and assigned to a department, and your lead will send you a discounted ticket link if you qualify.
