YOUtopia is the San Diego Burning Man Community's post-Burning Man Decompression event where we celebrate the vibrant creative and communal elements of San Diego and the surrounding areas.

YOUtopia is a 3 day/2 night camping event that will take place on the La Jolla Indian Reservation Campgrounds. There will be no glass containers of any kind allowed on-site, and no vending, with the exception of ice. Due to the fact that October is a risky month in terms of wildfires, outside firewood will not be allowed in. Depending on wind conditions, firewood may be available for purchase on site, but this will be entirely at the discretion of the La Jolla Indian Reservation fire department.

The theme for this year is Space Time Circus.

Space Time Circus

I’ll tell you how it all began, a ship that flew through where and when,
And who they were, we didn't know, but they were putting on a show
For us, spectacular to behold. And in this show, we were told,
Were circus acts from every star and every time, near and far
From this now earth. Future acts to make us laugh and bring us mirth,
Ancient art that would wow our eyes, modern music that would hypnotize,
And costumes straight from outer-space. And that was only one small taste,
Of what would transpire, because there would also be fire!
And so, it's very plain to see, that this is the best circus in history and geography.
But what makes it really great? You don't just watch, you participate!
A YOUtopian Circus: an excellent sign of an excellent Space and an excellent Time!
