Please review the complete rules and regulations for the La Jolla Indian Reservation Campground rules at this link. Highlighted sections of the rules, in addition to YOUTopia camping guidelines, are listed below.

NO GLASS CONTAINERS, NO EXCEPTIONS

The La Jolla Indian Reservation Campground strictly prohibits GLASS CONTAINERS OF ANY KIND on the site. ALL TICKETHOLDERS' VEHICLES WILL BE SEARCHED FOR GLASS CONTAINERS AT THE GATE! Any glass containers found by security at the gate will be confiscated.

RV’s & Trailers

Since RVs and trailers take up a huge amount of space we request that you fit as many campers into them as they are designed to hold. There will be a flat fee of $50 charged for placing your RV or trailer. If you are not paid and placed within one month of the event your RV or trailer will not be allowed into the event. You can pay for your trailer when you buy your ticket to YOUtopia.

Bring Your Own Cup

This is a "Bring Your Own Cup" event! Some theme camps are really going green this year and only serving people with their own cups! Bring your favorite cup and a few recyclable ones to share with your friends!

Poison Oak

There is a large amount of poison oak on the campgrounds. You can get poison oak by touching the plant, its leaves, roots, whatever. You can get it from your clothing that touches poison oak. You can get it by touching another person who has come in contact with it, even if they themselves aren’t manifesting any signs of poison oak. Please avoid coming in contact with poison oak while at the event.

Barefoot at Your Own Risk

Please be aware that this is a Barefoot at Your Own Risk event!

Fires

No campfires that burn wood or leave ashes will be allowed this year. We have an agreement with the Tribe to have fire only if it is fueled by propane or some other form of non ember makng fuel. If you are planning on bringing any kind of fire it will have to be approved prior to the event by our fire marshall. Please fill out a fire application if you plan on bringing any type of fire. You can apply for a fire permit with the Fire Lead by filling out the Fire and Fire Art Questionnaire. Due to the fact that October is a risky month in terms of wildfires, outside firewood will not be allowed in. Depending on wind conditions, firewood may be available for purchase on site, but this will be entirely at the discretion of the La Jolla Indian Reservation fire department.

Ice

There will be ice for sale at regularly scheduled times throughout the course of the event.

Port-A-Potties

“If it doesn’t come out of your body, it doesn’t belong in the potty!” Please remember that the port‑a‑potties are designed to receive only human waste and single ply toilet tissue. No handi‑wipes, baby wipes, feminine sanitary supplies, diapers, trash, or gray water are to be put in the port‑a‑potties.

Leave No Trace

This is a Leave No Trace event. That means packing in and out everything you bring, make, and acquire while at San Diego Decompression. There will be no dumpsters onsite.

Water

There will be water spigots nearby for washing. No significant water usage (pools, slip ’n’ slides, etc.) is permitted. For fire safety reasons, please do not attach hoses to spigots.

Lost and Found

Lost items can be brought to Operations in the DOGS Camp, and will be available until the end of the event. They will be posted online after the event.
